What is an infographic? If you don't know, go look it up. Read about it and then in your own words tell me what an infographic is. What do infographics do? How do they work? What makes a really good infographic?

They are a visual picture of data or stats. They help prove patterns and trends. They can help people understand stats better and grab their attention better. Colors and good facts make a good infograph. The reason for that is because people are more interested in the infograph and will pay  more attention to it.

Imagine Mr. Bacon has asked you to suggest one way of improving Blue Valley High School to make it a better place for students. Think about the changes that are needed at your school. Pick one change you feel would really make a difference and explain what it is and why you'd make the change.

  

          I would change the size of the parking lot so sophomores can actually park. I would also change the lunch so it is good and doesn't taste like gross food.  I think the biggest would be the lunch because many kids don't eat enough because of how gross it is. That would change the way kids do in school and how they act in school.

My favorite apps are twitter or soundclound because I use them the most. I can check social media and then listen to music. It is a great tool and i use it very often.

What is email? When do you use email in your own personal life? List reasons and ways that people use email. What do you know about "email etiquette"? 

I only use email when I sign up for stuff and fantasy football. Many businesses use email a lot. Without email for businesses they wouldn't be able to send messages to all their customers or employees. I think email is going down for young kids but for businesses it is still very important. I know in email it is very important to have good grammar so you look educated to the people you are talking to.

Emerging Tech has helped me with the computer and how to get it to work. Drive, Bubble and Evernote are good for notes and doing papers. They will come in handy when you have a lot of websites in college.

Do you enjoy writing? When do you enjoy it? What kind of writing do you enjoy? Why do you think the ability to write is so important no matter what kind of writing it is? Give an example that you enjoyed writing or hated writing. Why?

I do not enjoy writing. I think it takes to long and it would be better to just say it. I enjoy poetry. I think writing is important so many people can read it and form their own opinions about the subject you are writing about. I hate writing because sometimes teachers grade you on your writing and some people are just better at writing no matter how hard you try. It is a skill because I know people that try harder than other people and still do not get as good grades as them on writings.

If you don't prepare right and slack off you will fail on what you are trying to achieve. This happens to me on tests sometimes because I don't prepare right and don't study like i should. when I fail to prepare i fail. In Chemistry i didn't study so I failed the test and i got in trouble with my parents. If i prepared it would have been different and would have gotten a good grade.

This weekend I was with my friends and family. Friday and Saturday night i was with my friends and Sunday night i was with my family. Friday night i was at the football game. Saturday i watched college football. Sunday I watched NFL. It was fun. Even though the Chiefs lost we were close and the Denver Broncos are a lot better than us.

The importance of research is learning new things so that your mind can learn new things. Without learning new things nothing would be possible. In high school we have learned about databases that have a lot of research type things. we have also learned how to use words in Google to find the best selection of things for our research. Yes, Ms. Edwards has helped a lot when I am in other classes and we are researching stuff. She shows us good websites and helpful tools.

I choose immigration in America. That people are mad about how many immigrants are in America and that some other people see it as as a good thing for America. Yesterday I asked your to "think differently" and push yourself to be uncommon with your PSA project using Google Slides. Why do you think I asked you to do that? What is the point? Why not just use bullets and headers? Explain.


To make us be challenged and try harder to get us prepared for the class. It will help us and we will make less boring presentations for the class. Bullets and headers are boring and you want us to use more images and more descriptive writing. It will show more emotion and help the other people reading the presentation understand it better.
