Read this small newspaper clipping and then write a blog post about it. What are your thoughts? How does it make you feel? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

I think John Tapene is right and that kids need to start being more responsible and not wanting their parents to do everything for them. It makes me feel that i need to do more and start helping out more often and being more proactive. If you wait to long you will be left alone and that is why you need to start early and start being a young adult.

What is a Public Service Announcement? If you don't know what it is, Google it. In your own words, now tell me what it is? What are they used for? Can you recall an example of a PSA you've seen before?

A Public Service Announcement are messages sent out to the public through media with no charge to try to get awareness for people to change their attitudes towards something. The U.S. uses them mostly for health and safety and to bring out problems like obesity and gambling. I have seen drug awareness commercials and radios talking about how they can harm you.

After watching the short clip of Ashton Kutcher's acceptance speech what did you take away from his advice? What does this quote mean to you -"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use."

From Ashtons full speech I took away that I can be whoever I want to be if I have the motivation to do it. This quote by Ashton Kutcher means that everyone has the same chance of changing the world as anyone else. No matter who you are you can accomplish something great if you just try hard enough. You can make other people change and they will start changing the world with their thoughts. As long as you are trying as hard as you can try you can and will accomplish just as much as the smartest person in the world. The only thing that stands in your way is yourself.
